Children & Adults with Disabilities
Experience Summer Camp

ARCh's Camp Pow Wow provides children and adults with disabilities the opportunity to go to camp and experience swimming, fishing, nature, canoeing, arts and crafts, and music.  ARCh's Camp Pow Wow strives to accommodate individuals with a variety of abilities and financial circumstances.

Parents' Anxiety is Reduced
Through ARCh's Personal Advocacy Program, parents receive expert guidance to help them navigate the often confusing and overwhelming educational system.  Our experts assist parents in building a team of support around their child, helping to ensure success in school.

Adults with Disabilities Become
More Independent

Through ARCh, adults with disabilities receive information and assistance with housing, transportation, medical care and workplace issues.  In addition, they take classes to learn social skills and strategies to increase their independence.
Families Have Peace of Mind for the Future
One of the greatest worries parents face is the question of what will happen to their child after they are no longer able to care for them.  Through ARCh's Life Needs Trust, offered in partnership with Waukesha State Bank, families can arrange for the financial security of their children long into the future.
The Community is Served
Through ARCh's Teen Times, teens with disabilities have the opportunity to participate in meaningful community service.  Whether volunteering at food pantries, nursing homes, animal care facilities or homeless shelters, everyone is capable of service.

Teens Learn to be Leaders
Teens of all abilities increase their skills in public speaking, marketing, planning and organization through the ARCh Youth Team.  This highly-acclaimed program provides leadership training for students in grades 7-12.

Adults with Disabilities Experience
Community Life

Adults with disabilities can participate in everyday community life as active citizens.  ARCh's popular Leisure Services program offers monthly dances for adults, in addition to art classes, fitness activities and outings to movies, sporting events, concerts and plays.

Our Communities are Safer
ARCh's award-winning educational presentations about tolerance and acceptance reach thousands of children and adults each year.  These inspiring programs promote bully-free school environments and increase our community's respect for all kinds of differences.
Lives and Money are Saved
Tax dollars and human lives are saved through education about preventable causes of disabilities.  The PACE (Prevention Awareness & Community Education) program works to reduce the incidence of Shaken baby syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and lead poisoning, while promoting awareness of child safety and early childhood brain development.
