A.B.L.E. (Activities to Build Life Experiences)

Thursday Night Socials

For most, if not all, of the hundreds of individuals who participate, ARCh’s leisure activities for adults are much more than just “something to do”; Thursday Night Socials (dances at a local school) and small group outings to arts or sporting events provide opportunities for our friends and neighbors with disabilities to develop their social skills and confidence, to interact with other people in a social setting, and to participate in community life.  These activities, sponsored by ARCh’s A.B.L.E. program, also provide parents and caregivers with a rare and much-needed break from the constant responsibilities of caring for an individual with significant needs.

Here are the events scheduled so far for the Spring. Download this pdf form for dates and times.
